JAR regulations permit despatch without fuel for alternate provided 2 non intersecting runways, good weather and fifteen minutes extra manouvering fuel at destination
Just so that I understand this correctly,
FatFlyer: You're going to "save fuel" and do HKG-LHR without alternate fuel because you completely trust the forecast LHR weather to be just as advertised 14+ hours later, eh?
