At this stage a Sikorsky rep will be onsite tomorrow with a boroscope to assess the viability of flying it the 28 miles back to Broome

The oil filter housing which apparently has 3 studs fastening it to the txmsn was hanging on by one which hadn't broken and most of the oil had been pumped out.
Just for clarity, as I know there was much debate about it earlier in this thread - I can confirm the MGB has no run dry capability

How come you're not crowing about the 92 tranny in Oz
I can assure you that I don't find transmission problems anything to crow about!
