I Mean say what If your on a cross country flight and you suddenly go into a spin for a certain reason then Not knowing how to get out of it puts you in er poop street!!!! CRASH !!
BN81, I can only presume you are being sarcastic here, there is no reason in the circumstance you describe that you should end up in a spin, having said that, there are other situations that a PPL could end up in this position - the classic one being orbiting a friends house saying, "there it is - I will give you a better view by putting some rudder in"
In this case incipient recovery is
really worth knowing. Full spin recovery training has the advantage of giving more knowledge and confidence about how to recover from this and I would thoroughly recommend it, but in an aircraft that does it properly and with an instructor who is confident in teaching it - the worst is an aircraft (i.e. C152), that does not spin properly, with an instructor who is not really happy with teaching it!
