I got an offer but decided not to take it. The main reason was that although there was an improvement over my current package, taking tax and cost of living into account, we would be not much better off.
The offer was fairly good (once we got over the initial offer of trainee wage
) and did include some help with transition to Germany for myself and my wife. I'd prefer not to give specifics out on a public forum; they asked me not to and I don't think it's too much to ask. If anyone wants specifics
in confidence, feel free to PM me.
I also got a better offer elsewhere.....
