Seeing that the left-wing Berlin mayor and city government don't realise what kind of a mistake is about to be made with the closure of Tempelhof Airport, perhaps a wake-up call from the rest of the world will help bring about some sense and enlightenment to them.
With that having been said, there is an ongoing
Petition urging the authorities in Berlin, the German Federation and the Central Government to maintain Berlin-Tempelhof Airport as a functioning, unique, cultural historical monument and to promote the inclusion of the Airport with the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
Any- and everyone can sign the
