I think the point being made here to you is that 'shortcuts' or Direct Routeings are (to use a well known cliche usually associated with early-go's
) a priviledge, NOT a right. They're offered when traffic permits or with the goodwill of the ATCO. Pi$$ing and moaning about ATC in the press is not generating any goodwill towards Ryanair.
