Another bit of interesting and exciting news is that Andrew has negotiated for us to have the Guppy (free!) should we be able to find room for it on the new site. It would make a fantastic exhibit and its cavernous interior would provide us with lots of storage area and the potential to develop it for other uses."
Even though the museum itself was evicted from her leased premises because the aiport owners refused to renew the lease (yet another car park in the making...) the organisation is still up and running and looking for new places to stay. In the mean time this all shows that there is thankfully still a lot of local interest in Guppy by people who can actually make things happen...
