niknak - agree with you that all the information is there and it isn't hard to understand the lat and long, but it would be much simpler if the AIS website plotted the lat & long on a chart automatically.
I'm not saying everything should be easy because I can't be bothered - but if the facility is there (which it is, on several other sites - unfortunately they have to make a disclaimer that it's not for operational usage
then why not add that to the AIS?
