Although the source claims to be reliable, I too must agree with CentreFix. This has been discussed on many many many occasions on this and other forums for a number of years. Whilst it would be excellent for the regions economy and employment/business prospects, not to mention the travelling public, with the industry in its current situation I would very much doubt its truth (until a Gold and Navy Blue 757 is unloading on the apron and occupying check in space!). However, if an airline seems to think that such a route will be so lucrative and well utilised then stranger things have happened!?!!
