NCL - New York
I heard today from a senior source in the North East development agency that Continental are meeting in Newcastle within the next two weeks to rubber stamp a new route between Newcastle and New York (not sure which airport but I presume either Newark or La Guardia).
Seems an odd time to make such a decision given oil prices and the state of both UK and US economies.
Anyone else heard this or similar rumours?
