Know of several who senior schooled pre 1990 and despite 1000's of real world hours and experience have received the same letter from an office in the bowels of somewhere.
These are typically the settled down type who are happy to stay put (mostly for family reasons).
If you can't even get an interview then you don't get a chance to tell them that!!
