The rudder cleat is still in. So I pulls it out and walks round and leans on bowser holding said object up until JP happens to notice. A faint smile and a gesture of "put it away" while pointing at the open hangar door.
Later the explanation was volunteered "Just to drive home a point about never allowing a distraction during preflights." Aaahhhh.
