Getting divorced at the second officer stage gives plenty of time to get married again and be like many other pilots, ie on the second marriage at the senior f/o or Captain level.
I'm 41 and still on my first marriage, I know plenty of others who by their late 30s are already divorced with quite a few on wife number 2.
