When I had an initial interview for flightcrew with GSM (April 2007) I was informed I would be dual based with GLA likely to be my primary base and EDI my secondary. There was talk of travel allowances etc etc whenever I had to fly from EDI. When I returned for a secondary brief discussion with the companies´ new regime (Jan 2007) I was told I would not be dual based as I was not within the stipulated travel time for EDI. Who knows who stipulated this, but my guess is the CAA.
