I don't think a cheap Hong Kong divorce lawyer really exists. Even with the exchange rate, you are probably still better off paying for a lawyer down in Australia. Hong Kong divorce law and Australian divorce law are significantly different in many aspects and you will struggle to find a Hong Kong lawyer who is versed in the the Australian Family Law Act and if you did, they would charge enough to make your eyes water. Jurisdiction is not an issue as you probably don't satisfy the tests to allow a Hong Kong Court to have jurisdiction and as your (wife) is down in Australia, it would probably get handballed down there anyway. My advice, for what it's worth is just to pay for a middle of the road Australian family lawyer and brace yourself for the shafting you will probably get but take solace in the fact that it does get better.
