Here are some facts:
Dont confuse Avient with Norse, they have nothing to do with each other. Owners of Norse is Avnet family who have no connection to - or involvement with Avient.
All Avient's aircraft are registered in Zimbabwe, even the DC-10's. So was their IL-76 (Z-WTV) until it became timex end last year. Avient has since then taken another on lease.
Avient is British based but with a Zimbabwean component, flies on Zimbabwean AOC and registrations. There is even much speculation of partnership at very high level with Zimbabweans in order to maintain this convenient relationship and co-operation.
However, think all must relax. Piece above was placed merely to explain what was meant by africaman with his statement "what comes around goes around". This new allegation is exactly that, further speculation by the media about how the controversial consignment landed in Harare. The Zimbabwe Authorities are also doing Avient no favours by having confirmed that it is indeed so. This allegation must yet be confirmed.
However, sure that big brother - the US and British know exactly if and how the consignment landed in Harare. They should expose if indeed it was so. But then again the British Govt didnt lift a finger about Avient's past military assistance to the Zimbabwe and DRC governments during the DRC conflict. There must be a good reason?

During this crisis with the Zim arms consignment, and knowing what we do about the despicable Mugabe regime, does anybody believe that any Zimbabwean operation (company) is or will be in a position to deny services to the ZDF in this precarious situation.
If on the other hand the allegation is proved true, then the matter should not again just be left there.
