In Malaysia, ATCO's are placed either in the graduate scheme
or non-graduate scheme of service. We come under the
purview of the Ministry of Transport which comes under
the jurisdiction of the Civil Service.
All Radar Ctlers & Procedure Ctlers fall under the graduate scheme.( except for a few Ctlers who have been upgraded from rank and file)
The graduate scheme provides no o/t (overtime) at all.Its TOIL but we can finish it off as and when required.
Non graduate scheme pays o/t. They do follow Civil Service guidelines. Not too bad. A night shift can earn 200-350 Ringgit Malaysia (US100). Not bad.Rates differ on Public Holidays.
