It was Cosford's Brit that needed a main u/c leg. One of them was cracked when she was swung round in high winds a few years ago.
However, even though Cosford had a loaner leg from G-ANCF on hand, when she was moved to her current position in order to make way for the building of the Cold War Exhibition, the use of the 'CF's leg was not required.
