Engine compatability
[I]Surely-IF (and only if) Heavylift's intention IS to (somehow) fit the 44's engines to the Belfast, it would have already carried out a feasability study as to the likelihood of it succeeding?
Most opinion on this site however, seems to indicate that it just isn't possible-or at best-expensive! Can the 'experts' tell us just why it won't work!!!
One more point-given Heavylift's financial involvement-does it mean that the Belfast in Oz is making oodles of dosh for the airline and that it assesses ANOTHER Belfast would increase that? If so-let's see 'em BOTH in the air!
One other crazy idea ? Are there any other CL44's left in the world? If so, maybe Heavylift has plans in other directions!!!!!!!!
