Did you hear about the American guy who had his Beech Baron painted allover red before Oshkosh? He did it so that he could hear the tower say "Cessna ?????, line up after the red baron!"
I would love one of those WAR replicas or even better of of those lovely SE5a replicas that are around. I saw the three of them taking off from Popham one morning in formation (they only had one radio between them). It was like a scene from Dawn Patrol.
PS Just to nitpick, the Sturmvogel was the Me262. Spot the anorak in the thread
