I kept checking this thread. One thing that slips to my mind. I know that JAA IR (H) skills test has to be done in JAA airspace. BUT,

Why don't Bristows in Tittusville get AS365 for some type ratings? Would be feasible? I presume some IR training could be done as well.
From what I've read on PPRuNe on FW training in the US, looks to me that they do so.
Not sure how much non-type rating flying their B206 does.

That would make things easier for type rating conversion and would satisfy JAA multi engine type rating requirements.

Hope I won't need JAA IR(H) anytime soon even when CPL eventually :-)
