Th rest period normally provides an opportunity for the crew to make an abbreviated visit to the camp - something that I used to arrange and set-up, and then guide. Without exception, crews found it a valuable experience, with the always kind and patient assistance of the excellent Rabbi Barry Marcus.
Rabbi Barry Marcus was a very useful person to have on the trip, and the ceremony he conducted at the end of the rail tracks was very.... thought provoking, and allowed for a lot of reflection.
It is reassuring to see that crews continue to maintain high standards on these flight: Please contact the airline with your thoughts, as the crew would be delighted to hear from you.
I have contacted First Choice via email, and may even write a letter just to back it up. It can't hurt, I'm sure.
P.S. - I hope that you don't mind - I have copied this thread to the Thomson/FCA private forum where there is a good chance that the operating crew will see it.
