Sorry if this has already been said somewhere on pprune, every LGW/MAN aircraft are going to have a
full refit, OK yes it's not till next year but they are all booked in hence the A340-300 which is coming from the middle-east to help cover this, remember it's not like booking your car in for a service you need large time scales to refit 747-400s. If I'm correct 5 million pounds per aircraft, so in theory that would have wiped away all profits for 2007 and no air-share for me and you.
If you look at people leaving Virgin it is no worse now than in years gone by, yes it does seem so but we now have 5000 crew which makes it seem worse, we still only have one training course per week which has been the same for years, OK yes sometimes we have two courses per week but that is when we were expanding, or when virgin had realized that the establishment figures they use where incorrect.
So things are no different now than in the past!!!
