When it comes to MAN, if you transfer there you know that your chances of promotion up there are VERY limited, unless you come back to LON.
As for FSM's I agree completely that they deserve their money, they have got to where they are for a reason, normally hard work. As for lazy ones, yes you do get the odd one, but I've just done a flight where one of the CC who has been here over 2 years, openly admits she doesn't want to work, and to be blunt does just under the minimum required.
I know plenty of crew who have got promoted quickly through hard work, and know certain people who have just been missed through general incompetence of their manager. But there are those who have been down the back 3-4 years , who were/are there through maybe spending too much time on the LGW Upper Deck and not actually being a team player!
