Get with the programme man, Sec Duties don't exist anymore (I think they're called ancillary duties or something like).
At a secret PAYD Trials Unit somewhere near Chicksands, the Contractor recently announced that not enough cash was being made, and that the current offerings would have to be adjusted to correct this dreadful situation.
Out would go all those little extras that had been provided in a desperate attempt to get favourable reviews during the 'Trial Period', and in would come the bare minimum fare, as required by the contract, for the core menu.
The first the chaps in the OM knew of this was walking into breakfast and have to ask for orange juice instead of being able to serve themselves - out came orange cordial! At last the contractor had achieved the aim - crap food unless you were prepared full wack for the 'Big Boy's Breakfast' (I kid you not), and the OM reduced to the level of a transport cafe without the levels of cleanliness, hot showers etc.
One response to the changes compared the core menu with that required to be offered in HMP. The HMP menu, needless to say, was more attractive, healthy and contained considerably more variety than that available in the Mess.
