Eastern have won many major European awards, Flybe have won nothing.
Since when has anyone been in business to win awards? Simply put it will be survival of the fittest - the airlines whose models and products are best fit to the needs of the market will survive. The others will have to adapt or fold.
If the two regional models can exist side-by-side, well and good. Ultimately the consumer decides who is offering better value.
