I know for a fact that Richard Lake, the MD at Eastern, would rather close Eastern than sell to the Ryanair wannabees at Jack Walker House.
There's nothing wrong with Flypossiblys crews and service, but the conflict is with what Eastern's customers expect and the Flybe's management appalling attitude to the people who provide them with a living.
Eastern have won many major European awards, Flybe have won nothing and are unlikely ever to do so.
As for code share, isn't it Eastern who've just agreed one with KLM to operate INV - AMS?
Try as they might, Flybe will never get code share with KLM, or if it comes to it, any other major airline.
