There is an ATA pilot who turned down the job 1 year ago because he could not sell his house because of the market and the covenant for the association said he could not rent his house either. He was in a bind and he had to have money for his house to make the move. Long story short he turned down EK and now that ATA is out of business he inquired about joining and EK turned him down flat.
EMirates can't be that desparate if they are pulling ****te like that. It shows you what kind of employer you are dealing with though. Why wouldn't anyone want to work for the best airline in the world? If a pilot does not want to work for EK than screw him. That is the attitude here so beware.
