flybe pricing

The change from the 145 to Q400/195 makes an incredible difference.

I have been looking to go to Paris with the use of airmiles and cash.
The cheapest cash fare was £80 when the 145 was on the route and
if I wanted to use airmiles it was the 0630 outbound or 1420 and
the inbound choice at 1000 which is yuk.

Summer schedule at BHX changed to Q400, 195, 145 then Q400 outbound.

Base fares shaved by £10 return and airmiles start offering all inbound
flights - result one happy bunny, 1050 departure booked on the 195 and
return three days later on the 2040 Q400 for a reasonable fare and a few
airmiles.

If flybe can sustain this type of pricing on the Q400/195 then they are
certainly going to pick up the lower end of the market (me) and
get some healthy increase in pax.

Does anyone know if BHX-FRA, MAN-FRA, BHX-STR will be kept after
the 145 goes and thus change to the 195? I notice both BHX-MXP and
MAN-MXP have 195's scheduled - the former not to September but
a relief as I though Milan's days were numbered.
