Could you explain, as it seems to me that it is the opposite? As I understand it a trial lesson covers Ex 1 "Aircraft Familiarisation", Ex 2 "Preparation for Flight" and Ex 3 "Air Experience". Of these, only Ex 3 is loggable (the rest are done on the ground as part of the briefing etc.) and surely this
is just a joyride?
If you're actually spending significant time in control (rather than just waggling the wings) then you've already moved on to Ex 4a, "Effects of Controls pt. 1" and that should be logged as PPL training, not as a trial lesson?
