Sorry but I seriously doubt that the Americans will give her a C of A. The type has never been registered there and I don't think even preliminary work towards certification has been undertaken in the past. I can't see Bombardier ( Owners of Shorts) investing much support in the project.
I think her future lies on a register of convenience, albeit one with high enough standards of oversight and inspection to satisfy the Australian authorities.

KNOW who holds the design authority for the Belfast these days?
