Small, cramped and claustrophobic in comparison with the Q400, and just as unreliable!
You must be 'aving a larf right? Ok, the 145 is small, but no aircraft goes tech more often than the flying tractor.

having to double over in order to be able to walk down the horrible little cabin
Granted, it's not large but only becomes an issue if you're over 6 ft. If you have to double over you must be a least 12ft tall

mathers_wales_uk:

Flybe had their fingers burnt with the CRJ a few years ago and consequently appear terrified of small regional jets. JF has acknowledged that the 145 has a role on some long thin routes like MXP, but for simplicity they are aiming for a two fleet operation. The D8 is much more economical on the short routes with a good load, but if the load is sub-49 pax, then it is more economical to put it on the 145. The money BA paid Flybe is to cover the the extra cost of operating the 145 whilst ithe fleet is run down. Re. extra maintenance costs? The 145 is a less complicated aircraft than the D8.
