On the ATIS the RVR was down to 300m at around 0800 yesterday morning. I don't know if it was lower than that earlier in the morning. ZGGG was the only alternate in the area that wasn't clagged in. The early flights out of TPE for HKG all had ZGGG as the FILED alternate.
