Why does he neeed to sit them?
If LASORS states that the CAA exams (flight planning and perf c,d,e,or u) meet the JAR requirements for the issue of a JAR CPL why does he need to sit a performance paper to place a perf c airplane on it when it comes with that performance category anyway? I believe that the CAA have recognised and given it anyway, from the notes in LASORS.
