A couple of PA-31/310 have come to grief at YMMB due to a shortage of fuel in the tanks;
VH-NNN was one in the late 90's coming back from a ski weekend up at Cooma,
and in the late 70's another one came out of maintenance and on a test flight run out fuel down near Carum that was flown by a well known MB identity.
