I was trying to organise a Bash a while back but gave up due to lack of interest... Still, there's hope. If enough Ppruners visit around the same time maybe we can do something.. .I too fly from San Carlos (crispy banana... do I know you?) It is probably the closest GA field to San Francisco. Do a search of this forum and you'll find more info about it and flying around here courtesy of me and others.. .The two recommended FBOs at San Carlos are Diamond Aviation (www.ksql.com) and West Valley Flying Club (www.wvfc.org). West Valley has the advantage of having a wide selection of Cessnas and Pipers, and being both at San Carlos and Palo Alto.. .Depending on how long you're around, there are plenty of good places to fly to. Monterey is a nice flight down the coast for example.
