'His Royal Highness In Met' was the 'Met' instr on numerous FSO courses - mine in '74 - and he had a 'soft spot' for CPL / Instr holders....except when I 'accidently' broke his Max/Min thermometer on the roof of the 'Training College'....Just after he had told us how much they cost...and how rare they were..
Loved the man.
