Types of Contract Terms at Spicejet-India
Some of you had asked about what contract terms were available for NG Capts at Spicejet. Here are the three types available:
1. 10 weeks ON/3 Weeks off
2. 2 Months ON/ 1 Month off
3. 1 Month ON/ 1 Month off
I am on the first one listed. Since I am here in India with my family I don't always have to take the 3 weeks off. I still get my travel allowance and get paid extra to work those weeks. Alternatively, I can just take more time later when needed (summer vacation for kids etc).
One thing I will say is that the folks at Spicejet are VERY flexible when it comes time off issues for expats. As an added note, we have started to see some expats come here with their families. I think I may have been the first one to do that as a Capt. We now have 5-6 Capts with their families here.
They all seem quite happy having done that.
