Saw today 3 X dash 8's (baby ones) all sitting/parked at YMIA basking in the sunshine with no one to love them, something new going on perhaps?
MQL crew base has a couple of guys who are pretty good model aircraft drivers so it's the perfect place to carry out the radio controlled Dash 8 trials which is management's next strategy to combat the pilot shortage.
They are being fitted with the new gear at the moment and test flights should begin in the next few weeks.
