No use being a LCC if you have brand new aircraft parked against the fence that you cannot crew.
A Major issue for those competing in the marketplace in the coming years will be the ability to attract and retain experienced crews. A lot cheaper and smarter business model in the medium to long term. The results of a hull loss will certainly be fatal for a company, and the contagion will affect public confidence in the whole industry. There needs to be a paradigm shift in the attitudes, values and practices that constitute the way in which management view pilots and the industry overall. The ONLY thing that will help this shift will be the supply/demand equation of pilots!
