I was under the impression that going over to A380 you don't have to do your time for promotion and it's merit based.. i stand corrected if this is not the case, just how i read it.
In saying that, I have met the time requirements for promotion to CSS and in another year will have achieved the time for CSM, but just haven't got off my lazy ass to do anything about it.
