Certain reservation systems showing a delayed start, now 5/5/08
and revised timings.
In at 11.00 and out at 11.30.
Yep, just a 40 minute difference in departure times with the flybe
flight. Flybe are also adding more seats in from 9/6 with the Q400.
I thought once a day was strange in the first place but these times
seem a little odd. I assume it is just leisure traffic they are after and
the business person who can afford a night-stop and flying at rubbish
times

February 29 added about 25000, therefore the increase was at least
29000 pax on a like for like basis or a 5% increase.
Certainly the individual routes have been distorted with the extra day but some like DUS still had less seats available than 2007. The CAA stats when published next week with the individual route analysis will give a better indication of exactly how good these figures are.
