Boys calm down….don’t you think UAE/EK would have not thought about operating the 777 here before announcing it will be on the route within a year!!
As for the 330 I have only seen a couple of requests for 07 and then it was not 07 or nothing, 25 would just mean putting a little more coal on the fire! I.e. a little less flex! Nothing like the problems MYT used to have with the B763 or A320!
As for the need for better/more ground equipment for the 777!?!? You put it up the air bridge and apart from a different tow bar you need nothing different to unload/load it? We never had any problem with BA’s or K8 B777.
The runway is getting re-surfaced this winter, well the inner centreline is any way, nothing to do with 777’s!
And no we have not had any UAE 777's in so far, contrary to what a few people on airlines think!
