The public perception of us at the moment is that we are greedy civil servants. This reputation has been created by management's doing over the past few weeks. None of you seem to bothered by this and it appears that you wont be taking this any further.
Take it you either were not there or were not listening if you were. The union stated that it IS there intention to rectify this perception and to extract an apology from IAA management. They also said timing was key in this matter and to get it out there first so its in the public mind before you get any bull from the others. Hence the Newstalk interview with Landers this evening in which i think he did a very good job and even Hooky was very much on our side re overtime, our pay and time off. Hooky also told his listeners that we very much deserved our pay.

The NEC said that it was very much there intention to get it out there and investigated the very close relationship between the IAA and Ryanair. They DO have a copy of said memo from Shannon Management.

So give them a break they are doing the job and are getting results.
