Well I thought the idea of taking off from the Control Tower was cute !! I didnt write that , that was quoted straight off the paper. However, it was correct English by the way.
Since english is the international language of Civil Aviation, lets hope all pilots become better at it. And ATC and everyone else involved.
I noticed when listening in on ATC in TAiwan that they used English when communicating with Civil aircraft but reverted to Mandarin when communicating with TAiwanese military aircraft. Should they not simply just use English if they are using the same airspace?
This was a few years ago and I am not sure if they now use only English actually.
Any opinions on that ?
