BA take slating on LHR route
Some even suggesting they are deliberating underperforming on the route to "soften it up" to drop it at a later date.
Irate pax pointing to:
Queues at ABZ (although that may be more to do with BAA/BA's handlers than BA - on other hand BA pulled their own ground ops out of ABZ so their own fault?)
Weather, whereby a BA flight was delayed due weather at LHR, whereas a bmi flight to LHR left "more or less" on time
Delays & canx at LHR, where ABZ flights are "always first in line" for disruption
BA deny deliberately performing poorly, saying that they have "no current plans" to change the route or current schedule.
Seems most people still use BA for onward connections rather than AMS or CDG, but it's not the first time BA's performance on the LHRABZ route has been attacked.
