A lot of info are correct, some is wrong.

There has been upgrading of foreigners to Captain; for suitable candidates it will be available in the future also.
3 X -400 and as of May 1 X -800 with more to come later during the year.
Steadily growing amount of flights and destinations.

The pay-scale is under negotiations at the moment and a review is expected shortly with adjustment to stay in the upper level of payrates.

There is NO Marrakech (RAK) base. This is history.

Training and checks are as per JAR, also the environment is non-JAR.

Plenty of CATIIIa approaches during January and February with verey decent temperatures during day-time. Usually above 20° and not much above 30° during the summer.

Beaches are some miles away, Mohammedia in the north and Al Jadida in the south; Royal Air Maroc and some Jet4you crew are living in Mohammedia.

Casablanca town is crowded and during rush-hour driving comes close to M25 situations around the M3 / M4 junction.....with no one actually respecting any basic law....sound the horn, push, use all kind of signs and languages and you make your way, relax and take it easy will give you a smoother but much longer ride. Solution is using "petite taxi", extremely cheap and for 2€ you can reach most places within the city.

Pedestrians have no rights, at least that is what it looks like...

The place is not safer nor unsafer than any other busy city in the world, i.e. less bombing as in London. Is there any safe place left on this planet? I am not living in Casablanca, but I am there a lot. There are many places for the evening and for very good food. Alcohol is available also a bit on the higher side of the pricelist. Food is available for very good value, all sort of tastes and flavours.

People are friendly and helpful; yes, there are some around who will play with you but, you will find them in Paris, London, Milano and other towns as well.

Contractair is the favorite agency for Jet4you, Rishworth for Royal Air Maroc and Atlas Blue, details are available from them. Replies are sometimes slow as the DAC (Moroccan CAA) has to give clearance and will check your docs first.

Good luck
