I am very disappointed that as yet no journalist has made the very obvious connection between the recent Ryanair pilots' protest regarding working times and the Air Traffic controllers finally blowing the whistle on the unsafe working conditions being forced on them .
Will there have to be a major incident/accident in Irish airspace or involving an overworked Ryanair crew for the public to realise that the IAA make rules that suit themselves or indeed it seems for their friend Michael. Maybe it is about time that someone(and not someone they can accuse of being a disgruntled employee ) had the balls to question what exactly is going on in Irish Aviation and why politics has such a big part to play in an industry where safety should be the main focus.
