A LS NYC service would be very limited, in terms of the passengers who would use it. Many passengers who would use a regular scheduled service to NYC would use it to connect to other parts of the US via a carriers hub in wither JFK or EWR, LS do not have this luxury so would therefore be aiming their service at primarily leisure passengers going for breaks etc. Of course there is always the possibility they could link up with Jetblue or similar??

The EK is very successful, because of onward connections. It would be very interesting to see the breakdown of certain flights to see how many pax are DXB only and how many are travelling onwards? An agreement, with say CO could work on a codeshare basis and allow NCL pax access to the US.

Who knows what will happen? We never expacted an airline like EK to serve NCL and they did - nothing stopping another surprise.

Pembo330 The GSM flight was actually a diversion from MME. MME has been suffering from fog I believe today and GSM, FR, TOM all diverted into NCL and operated back out. Coaches for pax provided.
