* Average pay of €108,000 p.a. plus a 32% pension contributions which equates to €142,000 p.a.
He also fails to mention that it takes 18-20 years to reach the top of the scale and that and that by law we most have a pension which we cant draw on till we reach 65 or have 40 years service!
A 30 minute break every 2 hours worked
This is the problem mick...we arent getting the legally required breaks due to short staffing..so its a safety issue!
Overtime rate of €102 per hour or €800 per day
Before tax and only if your at the top of the scale Mick
15% pay increase just to volunteer to go on an overtime list
Its news to me if we are looking for this...where does mick get his info...
8 hour days - luxury!
Fraid not mick...shortest duty i know of is 5 hours and the longest is 11......and they are "day duties" they are a mixture of days morning and night duties....
This is a scam on the travelling public and ordinary passengers. It’s about time that Bertie Ahern’s government stood up to these public sector trade union scams and implemented a contingency plan to prevent these public sector unions closing our international airports
Like what Mick...Bertie isnt in the same position as Ronnie Regan...whos going to take over..the Aer Corps!
People looking for €1,200 for a day of overtime should be told to "foxtrot oscar
Its not about money mick...its about saftey you daft pk...how much would it cost you if 2 of your jets came together becasue the atco in charge was fatigued!!!!?Keep it up and your lads can Foxtrot oscar when they request more dct,higher level..etc etc....
